Vusi THEMBEKWAYO is a Global Authority, Keynote Speaker, Bestselling Author, Business Mogul, and Serial
Entrepreneur.
His name has become synonymous with being a business maverick, inimitable and with a personal brand that
is solidly grounded in accomplishments. As a source of business wisdom, Vusi is the go-to-guy for
executives and entrepreneurs globally.
Vusi is a global business authority and disruptor. A hard-working, committed venture capitalist and
serial entrepreneur. He was also one of the youngest directors of a listed company in South Africa.
He is the founder and CEO of the MyGrowthFund Venture Partners, an early stage investor with a focus on
impact investment driving financial inclusion & access to healthcare and education using technology.
Leading by example, his team forces medium, large and listed businesses into much-needed, often painful,
always lucrative new directions.

Here's a brief timeline of Vusi's life:
- 2002 - Came out first in Africa for public speaking (at the age of 17) and third in the world during the English-Speaking Union International Competition - a record he still holds today.
- 2003 - Vusi started his first company Global Professionals South Africa; a global recruitment agency that recruited apprentices in South Africa for jobs based in England and Australia.
- 2009 - Completed the Advanced Management Programme - Cum Laude in Commerce at Wits University.
- 2010 - On a thunderous November evening, he welcomed his first son Vusumuzi Nathaniel Thembekwayo III.
- 2010 - Became Director at Metcash Group, and successfully turned the New Business Division of the group into a R461m per year turnover business.
- 2011 - Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, at Gordon's Institute of Businss Science.
- 2012 - Studied Corporate Finance (Advance Valuation), Financial Modelling and Valuation at INSEAD.
- 2012 - Birth of his daughter Amahle Thembekwayo.
- 2013 - Spoke at the World Bank by invitation. Only African speaker to speak by invitation at the World Bank.
- 2014 - Accepted and admitted to join the National Speakers Association of New York, based on his USD earnings.
- 2014 - Starred as a Dragon investor on the African edition of the popular reality TV series - Dragon's Den.
- 2014 - Founded MGF Venture Partners to develop a robust innovative and educated entrepreneurship ecosystem in Africa.
- 2015 - Net Editors recognised Vusi in the Top 12 International Speakers Award.
- 2017 - Embarked on a successful global tour which ioncluded New York, London, Sydney, Casablanca, Auckland and Dubai.
- 2018 - Appointed as Chairman of Watermark Afrika Fund board.
- 2019 - Business Leader of the year 2019 award at the acclaimed GQ Men South Africa Awards.
- 2020 - Appointed as Chairman of Silicon Cape and the Innovation Village.
- 2020 - Interviewed by the global mystic Sadhguru and reached an audience of 7million since.
- 2020 - Interviewed on the number one inspirational platform in the USA, Impact Theory.
- 2021 - His company MyGrowthFund won the Best Impact Investment Firm, Africa at the Worldwide Finance Awards in London for a second consecutive year.
